Blood Group Serology Reading steering committee is aiming to provide an extended scientific conference, affordable to the NHS, located in the south of England, primarily aimed at hospital based Transfusion Scientists and related staff.
Reading with its excellent university facilities and transport links is an ideal venue for this conference. The university campus based accommodation will facilitate a more affordable and friendly conference, taking account of NHS financial restraints. This will allow a greater number of delegates to attend and improve their working knowledge of transfusion science.
The stimulating scientific programme will be enhanced by a broad-spectrum commercial exhibition and balanced by a full and exciting social programme.
