Richard Lambert – Managing Director

Richard Lambert is Managing Director and Company Secretary. He worked in blood transfusion centres in Bristol and Cambridge before starting in sales with the Travenol division of Baxter Healthcare and becoming product manager and finally logistics operations manager. He joined Lorne in 1993 as Scientific Sales Manager and is now responsible for the every day running of the Company.

Eddy Velthuis – Technical Director

The Technical Director, Eddy Velthuis, addresses all technical and quality enquiries. Eddy has IVD experience with hospital and industrial laboratories in the USA, UK and abroad. He has worked in quality control for fifteen years, including ten years in Saudi Arabia before he joined Lorne in 2000 and is now Technical Director.

Andy Mallaband – Sales Director

Andy previously worked as an MLSO in blood transfusion at the National Blood Transfusion Centre for Trent region in Sheffield, as Deputy Head of the Antenatal laboratory. He joined Lorne in 1997 as Northern Area Manager and is now Sales Director.

Louise James – Southern Sales Manager

Louise James has experience in blood transfusion laboratories and worked as an MLSO. She was in Pharma sales immediately before joining Lorne to cover the southern sales area in 2004.

Madeleine Winter – UK Customer Services

Madeline Winter, is Office Manager and responsible for all order processing functions and administrative matters. This includes order queries, deliveries and invoices.

Michael Hunt – Export Sales

Mike Hunt has responsibility for all export orders and the provision of documents essential to making sure our overseas Distributors receive everything essential for importation in the many countries we now supply.
